摘要: Objective To establish a juvenile-onset recurrent respiratory papillomatosis(JO-RRP)transplanted tumor model in nude mice. Methods Fresh tissues of laryngeal papilloma were obtained from 36 juvenile patients during operations.Tissues were cut into small pieces of approximately 1 mm3,transplanted into BALB/c nude mice subcutaneously, and then observed periodically. Results Tumors were successfully transplanted in 20 mice, corresponding to a tumor formation rate of 56%.The transplanted tumors presented histological characteristics similar to those of the tumors in humans.Virus HPV6/11 was confirmed in the transplanted tumor tissues by in situ hybridization and PCR. Conclusion A transplanted tumor model of JO-RRP has been established, which should provide a basis for studying juvenile laryngeal papillomatosis.
